Half Way through April

April, 15th, 2007. WOW, we are another six days closer to getting Micaela. Today we had a shower for Nicholas' bride to be, Erin. she looked very tired. Her best friend from Germany was there and she is very interesting. She flew in just for Erin's wedding. Nice friend! All our aunts were there, and a few uncles. Erin received a lot of nice presents for their first home. She also picked up her honeymoon tickets from Sheri Osborn. They are going to Jamaica exactly the same place that Ben and Jessica went.

Our agency will have their first trip to Vietnam since December of 2006. For some reason, they have not been able to get trips ok'd through the government of Vietnam. But the first group leaves this Friday and then we are in the second group who goes the first of May. YEAH!!!! We are so ready for this to come to a happy ending. The adoption process is not for the faint of heart. This process takes more fortitude than having a baby naturally. For those that cannot have a child naturally they sure make it hard on people. I have been fortunate enough to be blessed experiencing both. The weather seems to have turned a corner now, we had temps in the 50's today. We will see temps staying that way all this next week. We are so excited about the week coming up.
