Matt and his daughter, finally after 8 months of waiting. She is a thumb sucker right now, but we will change that. Matt was so excited and happy. She was waiting for us on a bed right inside the orphanage. After a long ride, she looked very clean and comfortable. Parker was right beside her and they were both dressed up for us.

We were so happy to hear you also met our daughter and Laurie's at Hoi An. We heard you have photos and an account of your meeting with her.If you don't have my email, Laurie will forward to you (as I don't have yours.) No rush as I am sure you are well occupied!
We saw Jonathan's photos - in which we can see you, Karen, taking the close-ups. Thank you for doing this, especially as it must have been a frustrating day in many ways not being able to fetch your own daughter.

A huge and happy congratulations to you both. What a mother's day gift. And thank you so much for spending time with our daughter in Hoi An on a day that must have been frustrating since you could not meet your own daughter for one more day.
