Please be in prayer for a friend of ours, Sandi Sheldon. She and her husband Dennis are in China and they were adopting a little girl, Hannah. Dennis fell ill last Saturday and then on Sunday was hospitalized and by Monday Dennis has passed away. Sandi is still in China trying to deal with an adoption, a death of her spouse and a new little girl. We met Sandi and Dennis last year, because we both were logged into China the same day and wanted to meet each other because we could be traveling together. We had dinner with them in Battle Creek and emailed them for a year and a half now. Sandi was so nice and friendly. We enjoyed conversations together. Her husband was diabetic, but had been. Please be in prayer for our friend Sandi as she is dealing with more than what we think is humanly possible, but we know that God is with her right now, even when she feels alone.
