Saturday we went to Naples area and went to Corkscrew Sanctuary and the Pier in Naples. What fun. We saw this male alligator on Lettuce lake and the dolphin off the pier swimming around. It was very neat to see them in the wild. The kids thought that the alligator was great, he rose right out of the water not only 15' from us and went under to catch a fish. We thought he was coming right out after us. It was just us and the guides that gather on this lake to tell people about the alligators. They told us that last weekend, this male killed another one in a battle for females.
