Our banana tree is finally going to give us some bananas, on May 12th, I noticed a flower peeking out of the big leaves. The flower started out around 15", Today, May 13th on Mother's day the flower has drooped down and is now 20" long. Bananas are weird, the flower is at the end of a long stem that holds the bananas as they grow and ripen. We will be documenting for all of you interested in the growth of the bananas. The kids want to document the growth and pictures of the bananas as they grow.
